What educators are saying

I love using this resource to not only encourage my students to write about their stories, but verbally tell me about them!
This is a great addition to our writing centers. The students enjoy rolling their die to see what kinds of stoies they will be writing. It's also wonderful for the students that are constantly struggling to come up with writing topics on their own.

Description

These roll a story boards will get students writing creatively all year long! There are 25 seasonal and themed boards that are packed with creative story starters! Use these in writing centers, in writing workshop, or for early finishers. Graphic organizers and writing paper are included!

Directions: the student rolls a die three times. The first time to select the character, second for the setting, and third for the problem. Then the student can use the graphic organizers/writing paper to write out their creative story!
