What educators are saying

Love when I can use activities that are more like "games" so students are enjoying the activity but still learning at the same time!
This is a great activity to use after state testing is over. My students really enjoyed working on this activity.

Description

Road Trip Math Project that gets students applying rate skills in real-life. Use in a RATES UNIT or just as a fun project in math class around spring break or the end of the year.

Features:

  • Use as a Google Slides activity or print it out.
  • Ready-to-Use or fully editable, so you can add more supports or change parameters for your students.
  • Accommodates gas and electric car choices
  • Links to websites that will guide students to lesser known attractions and destinations along their routes
  • My 6th, 7th and 8th Graders do this project every year with slightly different parameters and restrictions on their trips each year. THEY LOVE IT, even on their 3rd trip!
