Right Triangles Unit with Videos: Trigonometry, Pythagorean Theorem, Special Right Triangles
This Right Triangles Unit Bundle includes guided notes over the Pythagorean Theorem, Special Right Triangles, Trigonometric Functions (Sine, Cosine, and Tangent), and Inverse Trigonometric Functions. Also included is an real world problem investigation activity as an introduction to trig functions as a ratio of side lengths (tangent), a word wall over the main vocabulary in the right triangles unit, and worksheets/homework/practice in each set of guided notes. Answer keys are included for the investigation and all three guided notes sets. These guided notes include key vocabulary, hints and steps to help guides students, and practice problems and examples built into the notes (in addition to the worksheets). Guided notes area a great scaffolding tool that help your students to stay focused on the lesson and save valuable time in the classroom. This bundle will cover about 6-8 full class periods.
Also included in each zip folder is an mp4 video file recording of the lesson. This is a zoom recording of my screen as I teach through the lesson notes. All audio and worked out examples are included within the video. This would be a great resource for an online class, a flipped classroom, while you have a sub, or just as a re-teaching resource for students to use.
