What educators are saying

I use these cards with my K-2 classes and they love it! I've even made a few extra cards to add into the deck that my kids have come up with based off of these cards.
This was a great resource. I was able to use it during my maternity leave. This would give visual cues to help with my non-musical sub as well as the Kindergarteners and 1st graders. Thank you!

Description

Rhythm stick movement cards are a perfect way to make music and use rhythm sticks in a fun way! Use the cards for learning how to properly hold and move the sticks. Playing games like ’Simon Says’ or ’Follow the Leader’ work well for trying different movements. Use the songs on page 17 & 18 to sing and move together. If you don’t have rhythm sticks, use pencils, popsicle/stir sticks, twigs or chopsticks.

Print the movement cards on pages 3 - 16. It is recommended to print the cards on cardstock paper and then laminate for durability.
