Revolving Class Notes Activity (for any grade or subject)

Tired of the same ol' PowerPoint lectures?! This activity will give students the chance to get out of their desks and move around, all while actively taking class notes.

This activity is for K-12 ages because it can literally be used in any general ed classroom. You can adapt this particular activity (which is geared toward the stock market) for any lesson or topic that you are teaching about.

In short, students are given handouts with fill-in-the blank notes. Posted around the classroom are the answers with large-sized font. Students rotate clockwise and take notes, then sit back in their seats while the instructor highlights the notes. I have used this as a break in between PPT lectures to "mix things up," and it has proven to be successful!
