Description

You can use all (or portions) of this 20-page interactive resume-making workshop with high school age students who are either making a resume for the first time or looking to improve their basic resume.

This product teaches students about the different parts of a resume (E.g., "Objective", "Education", "Experience") and specific resume-writing skills (E.g., using past tense in bullet-point descriptors, using active voice to indicate results and achievements rather than "doer" type language, etc.).

This product also contains a student-friendly simulation (which you can use, adapt, or disregard): Students will actually interface with an in-progress resume template after choosing one of three creative jobs for which to apply. You can see how part of the simulation works (as well as one of the three "mock" jobs ) in my product preview.

Here is the full table of contents for this product. It is very fun, interactive, and purposeful!

2) Page 2 - What is a resume objective? (information and sentence starters to make one)
