Respiratory System Matching Cards & Crossword Puzzle-High School
Description
This engaging matching activity covers the structures and functions of the respiratory system. First, students will be working in a small group and match to each term the correct picture and description. Afterwards, students will fill out a crossword puzzle individually to check their understanding. Teacher answer key and student instruction sheet is included.
Matching activities are great formative assessments and keep students actively engaged. The matching cards can be also used for other games such as headbands or taboo.

Teacher Set Up:
Simply print the sheets of matching cards on card stock paper, laminate, and cut the cards apart. The cards look best when printed on coloured card stock, but they can easily be printed in black and white.
