Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Urinary, & Brain/Nervous Systems Disorders Projects

This bundle features 4 separate research projects focusing on diseases and disorders of the Respiratory, Cardiovascular, Kidney/Urinary, and Brain and Nervous Systems.

In each project students will select, from a provided list, a disorder that impacts the specific body system the project studies. Students are then given a detailed list of information to find on their disorder and are asked to present their findings using words and diagrams in either a poster or digital format. An easy to use teacher marking rubric is provided.

Students will work independently and in my experience that each project takes 2 or 3 class periods to complete. These are excellent, easy to use project resources for classroom teachers. Also, the simplicity with which they are worded and presented also makes them an ideal resource for on-line learning situations and for substitute teachers who may not have a strong science background.
