Research a Country for Primary Gifted Students

This unit is based on the work of Dr. Sandra Kaplan. Using her areas of Depth and Complexity, a student can learn more about a country than just the name of its capital, and the population. This unit includes 15 pages of activities designed for gifted and talented students in first or second grade. The student will have such activities to complete as to create a cartoon about the ethics of the country, or to draw pictures showing how something has changed over time.
