Description

Remarkable Art is a lesson series that uses critical thinking and imagination make art history fun! Students interact with masterworks by adding their own text into speech bubbles. This encourages students to critically view the image for clues about the characters and settings. Students get to use their imagination to generate the thoughts and speech.

Complete bundled resource is aligned with National Standards for Visual Arts Education and the Common Core College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards.

This Remarkable Art lesson focuses on the work of Johannes Vermeer, the Baroque Dutch master. Students may be familiar with his work through the "Chasing Vermeer" book series.

Developed for secondary students in 5th through 10th grades, Remarkable Art can be used across content areas. Perfect for fine arts classes as well as arts integration in reading. literature, English language arts, and social studies.
