Reduce, Reuse & Recycle Computer Lessons - Earth Day Word, Excel & PPT Lessons

If you are looking for Computer Lessons to teach students some basic features while teaching a subject, these lessons will deliver! Three activities for students to use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Students will use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word while learning more about Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling. These lessons are great for Earth Day lessons but because they focus on Reducing, Reusing, and Recycling, they are perfect year round lessons.

Excel is a great way for younger students to learn to work in columns. Students will group recyclable items in various categories in Excel and cut and paste if items need to be moved. The PowerPoint lesson introduces students to using SmartArt Graphics while they learn what to recycle from every room in the house. Students will use Word to format a numbered list and the format painter while completing sentences about how they plan to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

A PowerPoint presentation is included to introduce the Excel and Word lessons and the Excel answer key is included.
