Recalling Sentences - ALL varieties from the CELF-5

What educators are saying
Description
I used to think working on Recalling Sentences was dumb, to be frank. But since taking on this mission to create my own materials for all subtests of the CELF-5, I began using manipulatives (one per word) while giving students words to recall/repeat. And they're growing! (I know, I was shocked) I use errors as opportunities to address phonological-based grammar errors (e.g., She live in the jungle vs. She lives in the jungle). Guys, I even made a goal for it, and I swear this kid's grammar is improving as we are working Recalling Sentences.
Forcing them to recall and using a manipulatives as a sort of 'place holder' for each word helps the student create a metalinguistic construct for words (language!). It means they can't skip over anything and it increases their awareness when an error is happening.
As you probably know, the kids we work with are the kids that tend to be more passive; they tend to employ their phonological loop (working memory) less efficiently than their peers; addressing this helps us be explicit about teaching them to rehearse, hold on to, visualize, and repeat sentences...a skill necessary for following directions and general learning.
Over 800 sentences, including:
Active Declarative (3-4 words, 5-6 words, and 7-8 words)
Active Declarative - Conjunction Deletion
Active Declarative -Coordination

Recalling Sentences is obviously never the only thing I work on, so these really can last me probably a whole year.
