Reading Workshop Strategy Cards/Bookmarks + EDITABLE chart

Making your Reading Workshop meaningful in the short time we have with each group is extremely important. These cards are perfect to pinpoint a strategy and help your student focus on the skill you are reinforcing.

Reading Strategy Cards:

Reading Workshop Strategy cards to use during your mini lessons. This set of 46 strategy cards are based on comprehension, accuracy, fluency, and vocabulary. They are used during your Reading workshop mini lessons as you instruct each strategy. These match and go with our Guided Reading Strategy Cards set.

Guided Reading Strategy Cards/Bookmarks:

This Guided Reading Strategy Cards set includes 32 different strategy cards and a checklist as the students master each strategy. Each slide has 12 bookmark size cards on it of the same strategy. The cards focus on Comprehension, Accuracy, Fluency, and Expand Vocabulary. This product is designed to be used in a Guided Reading group. After working on a specific skill with the kids in your small group, take the bookmark strategy card that you worked on and slide it into each child’s Guided Reading book. When the kids take their book home, this lets the parents know what you were working on with them and what they can continue with at home. It is a great tool for the school/home connection!

Editable Chart:

Included is an editable chart to log your kids' names in and track how they are doing on their reading strategies.
