This escape room has 4 stations designed to get your students engaged in test prep reading. During this escape room they will have to put their brains to work in a number of ways. Students will;

- read and identify text structures to crack a code

- read a short nonfiction passage and answer multiple choice questions to crack a
code

- read a full page fictional short story and then plot events on a plot arc as well as

answer multiple choice questions to crack a code

- read and analyze a poem and answer questions to crack a code

- answer vocabulary testing style questions that are mixed in to each genre

Students will put their context clue skills, inferencing skills, and problem solving skills to work!

What's included:

- full page overview of the escape room

- master key code page

- code breaking tracking sheet for students to record responses on

- 4 stations with task cards, and detailed challenges (2 nonfiction stations, 1 fiction

station, and a poetry station)

- answer key for each station

- link to a Google form where students can enter their codes
