What educators are saying

This is an awesome resource! My students loved it and I found it to be extrenmely helpful when teaching reading!
I often struggled with what specific questions to ask my students during reading conferences. This was the perfect resource to have with me as I would move around the room.

Description

This is an easy to use, tool-kit to carry around while conferring with students! Instead of asking what their story is about, using specific questions will gain a sense of how they are doing with their comprehension!

These questions are meant to build off of one level to the next. You'll notice that many questions overlap, or are slightly changed based on the level. They are meant to use and grab easily. For example, if a child is an instructional level N, you may ask a question or two from the M sheet, then progress to an N question. You may even challenge him or her with an O question. Feel free to use this as you wish!

This can be printed for a larger view or a small toolkit. I printed mine 4 to a page. (Click multiple when printing).

Put on a book ring and you are ready to go!
