What educators are saying

These passages provided a great way for students to learn about the accomplishments of many famous females during Women's History Month. They were engaged as they worked together to determine the main idea and locate four supporting details for each article.
I'm always looking for different ways to practice main ideas and details. This resource adds to my bundle quite nicely, and I will continue to use it.

Description

Your students will love these reading passages about influential women in history. Each of the reading passages have comprehension questions and lead students to identify the main ideas and supporting details.

These passage would ideally be used all year, not just during Women's History Month. In each passages, students will read a passage and will identify the main idea and 4 supporting details.

The 10 passages in this resource are all non-fiction texts focused on Women of History (Amelia Earhart, Susan B. Anthony, Joan of Arc, Oprah Winfrey, Babe Didrikson, Clara Barton, Marie Curie, Harriet Tubman, Victoria Woodhull and Eleanor Roosevelt).
