Description

Your students will love this comprehension game using Fairy Tales! Students should be familiar with the four Fairy Tales (The Three Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood) before playing this game.

Teachers are saying:

  • "SUCH a great literacy center! My kiddos loved it! Way to go! Thanks!"
  • "Quality product! I will continue to use this product each year in my classroom."
  • "Awesome game to review comprehension and story elements. Thank you for this resource!"

This FUN file includes:

  • Game board in color and black and white
  • Spinner
  • 27 different question cards

Please Note:

  • Some of the questions have "right" or "wrong" answers... for example, "What happened at the beginning of this Fairy Tale?"
  • Some of the cards require critical thinking... for example, "What would you have done differently if you were one of the characters in this Fairy Tale?" (Use your professional judgment based on the level of your class to determine what constitutes a correct answer.)
  • It is suggested that you play this game in a whole group or in small groups to demonstrate how to play the game and how to determine if an answer is acceptable.
  • Younger students or struggling readers may need support with reading the cards.
