Reading Comprehension: Enemy Pie

Friends~I finally found time to post my newest file. A book study for Enemy Pie. My kiddos loved the book and made the cutest pie graph. They even scanned a code and watched the book read on our ipad. It is a great beginning of the year book or anytime you kiddos need a reminder about how to treat each other.

Included:

• Directions for making a pie graph and printable chart pieces for the graph.

• 3 Reading response strips for after reading. Great for the interactive notebooks.

• Problem and Solution graphic organizer
• What makes a good friend writing prompt and tchart sort.
• Directions for making a Friendship Pie for the hallway.
• Plot Make in the shape of a pie.
• Making Words
• Silly sentences with directions for setting up the center. Parts of speech direction cards, writing sheet, and 3 pages of parts of speech cards for students to write with. I added them in pie tins to connect to our story.
• Math: Survey sheet, bar graph, line plot, and pictograph.
