Readers’ Theater is one of the best tools to have students gain fluency, accuracy, and comprehension in reading. It also reinforces listening skills, and teamwork.
It is a great resource to use in your classroom to integrate reading and science. You can use it in many ways: small group activities, centers, or teacher table.
The Full Pack has lots of activities that complement the script, and reinforce vocabulary. Also, it has lots of fun, hands on activities that will allow students to learn by doing, observing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions.
Some activities could be used as informal assessments.
