Description of Plays and Comprehension Activities:
-“The Flower Race”: What does a flower need to grow? These two characters discuss these things before the big race to grow.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will write and illustrate what a plant needs to grow.
-“Getting Ready for Spring”: These two birds both need to get ready to go play in the Spring rain. One takes a little longer than the other.
o Comprehension Activity- Students will complete a picture of an unfinished tree and flower stem to make them more spring like. They will then write about the signs of Spring that they notice.
