Reader’s Theater Pack: Matter

This reader’s theater pack contains five scripts about matter. The short, 2 page scripts are engaging for your whole class! Most have 1-6 individual speaking parts and many ALL parts for you whole class (or small group) to participate in.

Great way to integrate reading fluency with important science standards. The more you practice, the more students are learning about matter, all while becoming stronger readers.

And they won't even realize how hard they are working with the humorous nature of the scripts!

The five scripts and their topics are as follows:

-“What’s the Matter with You” Game Show: defines and compares atoms, molecules, elements, mixtures and solutions

-The Atom Awards: defines atoms, nucleus, protons, neutrons, electrons, molecules and elements

-Superhero Matters: defines matter, atoms and molecules and explains the three states of matter (solid, liquids, gases)

-Molecular Travel Airlines: explains how temperature affects the states of matter, defines evaporation and condensation

-Top Chef: define and compares mixtures and solutions
