Description
Introducing our Harriet Tubman Reader's Theater activity - a fun and educational way for students in grades 3-8 to learn about the life and accomplishments of this brave and determined woman. Through the script, students will explore the history of slavery and the underground railroad, and discover the importance of freedom, bravery, and determination. With roles for multiple characters, including Harriet, her husband John, and her brother William, students can also practice their acting and public speaking skills.
In addition to the script, our product includes detailed lesson plans on how to implement the reader's theater in your classroom, as well as how to guide students in writing their own reader's theater. This activity is perfect for Black History Month or any time of year. Engage your students in meaningful learning while also fostering their creativity and communication skills with our Harriet Tubman Reader's Theater.
