Description

This pack is meant to cover many standards, including reading, writing, research-skills, as well as art! Students read and research BUBBLE GUM, fill in a comprehension brochure, and then complete an EASY art project based on the topic of gum!

Included in the pack:

  • An article about the gum.
  • A fold and go brochure about gum.
  • A link to two short videos about gum.
  • An art project where students will create a gum masterpiece.

For this project, you will need the following resources:

  • Watercolors (highly suggested, but you don't 100% need this)
  • Brushes
  • A picture printed in black and white of each student (8.5x11)
  • Scissors.
  • Glue
  • Balloons (preferably shades of pink to resemble gum).

This is meant to be an interdisciplinary project for students. It is meant to be rigorous and fun for students in grades 2, 3, or 4. It also makes for a great hallway or bulletin board display!
