Having a hard time getting kids to read large numbers correctly or changing them to word form from standard and back? Well turn on your radio because this song teaches kids the steps to read numbers. It also includes the three periods that are in the 4th grade Florida standards: Millions, thousands, and ones. Teaches kids to chunk numbers by the period, reading each as if they were in the ones place and then saying the period name. It helped my kids solidify what I was teaching them. Plus, it's set to a popular song the kids love! Again, if you use this, make up motions to go along with it. The more kids move, the better!
