Description

During Read Across America, this is a time to explore books from across America that shows our diversity as a country. In this product it includes 10 books with different activities. Books included are:

-The Word Collector (explaining powerful words)

-Those Shoes (wants vs. needs)

-What If... (creating something from everyday objects)

-The Most Magnificent Thing (inventing one thing or coming up with one goal)

-Stella Brings The Family (labeling your own family)

-All Are Welcomed (writing about when you've felt comfortable in class)

-Don't Touch My Hair (favorite part of you, self love)

-Islandborn (timeline of yourself)

-The Name Jar (graphing names in class)

-The Day You Begin (bingo with favorites about you)

Each of these books has an activity to go along with the book whether it is writing, problem solving, graphing, creating something, timelines etc. Some of the activities have multiple templates for you to choose from. Read one or two books a day for the week!!
