What educators are saying

I love using this resource for students who needed a math challenge. With a little support and explanation, most of my higher-level students were able successfully complete the slides!
I teach students with Emotional Regulation Impairments. While my students struggled to identify rational and irrational numbers due to their disability, the resource provided them with multiple opportunities and to see their results in real time to fix their errors.

I have used both of these in class as a quick assessment. Students were encouraged to work together to determine answers and talk about vocabulary words.

Apply and extend previous understandings of addition and subtraction to add and subtract rational numbers; represent addition and subtraction on a horizontal or vertical number line diagram.
Know that numbers that are not rational are called irrational. Understand informally that every number has a decimal expansion; for rational numbers show that the decimal expansion repeats eventually, and convert a decimal expansion which repeats eventually into a rational number.
