Description

This is a project I do with my students at the end of their Rational Expressions unit. I have them create a website through wix.com that explains how to simplify, multiply, divide, add, and subtract rational expressions.

This file is the task, some suggestions when designing, and the rubric. I have uploaded it as a word document so that you can change things as you see fit.

I allow students to work in groups of 2-3 or individually. Some project requirements change depending on the number of people working in a group. I give students about a week to work on the project in class, but if done outside of class, that time could be cut down.

Because it is difficult to have students type their math problems, I encourage them to hand write their work and then upload a picture of their work to the page.

There is a link to the example page that I made on the document. I did my example page over equations of lines so that students had to be creative with their own material.

I hope your students enjoy the project! I know mine do!
