What educators are saying

Thank you for the resource. This really allowed my students to gain a deeper understanding of the skills and show what they had learned and mastery of the topic.

Description

This set of task cards works great with individuals, partners, small groups, or even centers.

You will find 40 cards requiring students to find the rate of change (slope) from ordered pairs and tables. This activity can be used for a single center/small group activity (combined) or two (points and tables).

There are 20 cards with ordered pairs and 20 cards with tables in different formats.

Differentiation:
Differentiation is so important in the classroom, but it can be time-consuming to plan for and implement. This resource was designed to make it easy for you to differentiate effectively. You can create different sets of cards to meet your students' needs. If you have struggling learners, it may be appropriate to give them just a few cards at a time with similar problems. If you have accelerated students, you may want to just select a representative sample and then provide an enrichment activity. You could also have your advanced students extend their understanding by writing a linear function once they find the rate of change.

Included:
*Instructions and Standards Correlation Sheet
*Large Label for File Folder/Centers Organization (2 Versions)
*Recording Sheet
*40 Rate of Change Task Cards
*Answer Key
