What educators are saying

This resource was easy to use, and ready to go--all I did was make copies. My students LOVED this movie. I showed it after the AP exam for my AP Human Geography students (10th grade), but it would work great in 11th US History. I'll definitely be using the resource again.

Description

"Young Jesse Owens (Stephan James) becomes a track and field sensation while attending the Ohio State University in the early 1930s. With guidance from coach Larry Snyder (Jason Sudeikis), Owens gains national recognition for breaking numerous records. After heated debates, the United States decides not to boycott the Olympics in Nazi Germany. Overcoming racism at home and abroad, Owens seizes the opportunity to show Berlin and the the world that he's the fastest man alive." - Rotten Tomatoes

This is probably one of the best films I have seen in a long time. Your students will love this film and the powerful story behind the 1936 Olympic Games. This product includes 24-questions, a character guide, and two character spotlights. This movie guide will help your students make sense of the film and, most importantly, to analyze the historical significance of the life of Jesse Owens. Ready to print and ready to use!

The film is available on iTunes and on Amazon.
