What educators are saying

These are very well organized and easy to use. This is a great resource for my classroom. These allow for some great data collection.
My students found these activities to be engaging. I use this as part of their independent and small group work. I may even use for homework especially for my lower students.

Description

It is a sincere honor to share this 200+ page unit with you. In this product you will find 10 Weeks of Early Math Measures aligned to Common Core Standards. This unit does not contain interventions. It contains the Curriculum Based Measurements to be utilized as weekly assessment evidence for Response to Intervention. Embedded within the document are hyperlinks in the Table of Contents to save you time navigating through the large document. You will also find links to reliable websites to learn more about RTI, CBM's, and Progress Monitoring. Please note: three of the skills outlined below are not explicitly stated within the CCSS--- however are complimentary and prerequisite skills to standards within the grade level. Below I have outlined this by simply stating the grade level.

Each come with a Teacher Administration Guide with suggestions on how to utilize and score each measurement.

Representing data graphically is a must! I also included a student/teacher graph for each measure.

Also included are bonus parent notes to communicate a student's response to intervention.

CBM's are free from distracting graphics to ensure a reliable assessment of student progress.

Each measurement has the respective Common Core Standard listed clearly and an area to record anecdotal notes.

This unit would compliment any first, second, or third grade classroom with students performing below grade level expectations. These early math measures serve as curriculum based measurements to monitor progress for baseline and weekly response to intervention.

Domains specifically referenced: Counting and Cardinality, Operations and Algebraic Thinking, and Numbers and Operations in Base Ten.
