RACE Writing Strategy Practice Passages BUNDLE (fiction + non-fiction)

This product includes my Fiction RACES practice and my Non-Fiction RACES practice.

The RACES writing strategy is an excellent tool to help your students write a cohesive paragraph about what they have read. My RACES Writing Strategy Practice Passages BUNDLE give your students more practice with this important skill.

Included are 12 passages, a student reference sheet, and a list of helpful sentence stems. 6 passages are fiction, and 6 passages are non-fiction. All of the non-fiction passages focus on American history, which makes social studies integration easy!

Because the majority of this product is additional practice passages, I recommend using this product after you have taught your students the different parts of the RACES strategy.
