What educators are saying

Thank you for this resource! This was so helpful for me to learn this song to teach to my Kindergarten and 1st Grade music class for so and mi (they loved the song, by they way!)! Love your resources!
This was such a fun song and the visuals were super helpful. 2nd grade loved exploring adding instruments and it gave my Native Spanish Speakers such a feeling of ownership when they could explain to their classmates what the song was saying.

Description

¿Quien es esa gente? is a simple and fun song to teach your students sol and mi or quarter rest. It is a folk song from Mexico (which makes it perfect for Hispanic Heritage Month) with simple lyrics and tune. This Google Slides presentation has everything that you need to teach your students the song, learn about Mexico, and present either sol and mi or quarter rest.

This Google Slides presentation includes two different 23 slide presentations-- one to present sol and mi and one to present quarter rest. Both include the sheet music, lyrics and rhythm, game directions, information about Mexico, and more!

*Note: This singing game is one that I made up, not an authentic singing game. It's still fun though!
