Telling time in French: this fun game for oral communication will get your students speaking and working on their telling time skills. This is a set of "J'ai Qui a?" games to practice reading time and answering the question "Quelle heure est-il?"
The printable file includes 3 sets of “J’ai... Qui a...?” telling time games in French.
- 1st set: 26 cards with a mix of time to the hour / half-hour
- 2nd set: 36 cards with a mix of time to the hour / half-hour / quarter-hour
- 3rd set: 36 cards with a mix of time to the hour / half-hour / quarter-hour / 5 minutes
An example of a card is:
I have “3:15” (digital clock)
Who has “9:00”? (analog clock)
❤️ Your students will love practicing reading time from watches. They'll be getting tons of speaking practice, having fun, and working on a mini-dialogue that's relevant to real life.
I’ve also included a blank set of cards (NON-EDITABLE) so you can create your own set of cards. NOTE: “non-editable” means that you’ll have to write the information onto the cards.
As a bonus, there are bookmarks with examples of how to tell the time. It comes in 4 different colors and in B&W, which would look great printed on colored card stock.
