In an effort to support the grieving process, encourage feelings and thoughts related to the death of a loved one and to promote healing, the following activities are included:
SCRIPTED GOODBYE LETTER to their loved one that has died.
GOODBYE PUZZLE that includes the same scripted words in the Goodbye Letter, although the puzzle brings an alternative way to express one’s grief. Responses to be written or drawn on opposite side of puzzle piece.
GRIEF PUZZLE that includes important questions related to the loss of their loved one. The questions are formatted to be answered as if one is communicating to their loved one that has died. (i.e. life before your death was...).
MEMORIAL POEM PUZZLE includes creative poetic questions about their loved one that has died (i.e. If you were a present your gift would be...).
MEMORIAL PUZZLE includes questions promoting thought and feelings expression related to the negative and positive memories of their loved one that has died. (i.e. something you taught me is...).
FEELINGS PUZZLE includes feelings clip art with separate questions to prompt discussion related to the loss
Once any of the puzzles are complete, glue onto a card stock, laminate, or frame with the responses facing up. (see preview)
