Description
"Good Will Hunting" is a 1997 drama film directed by Gus Van Sant, starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Robin Williams. The movie follows the story of Will Hunting (Matt Damon), a young janitor at MIT who is secretly a mathematical genius. When Professor Gerald Lambeau (Stellan Skarsgard) discovers Will's talent, he arranges for him to receive therapy to overcome his troubled past and reach his full potential.
Will initially resists therapy, but eventually forms a bond with his therapist, Sean Maguire (Robin Williams), who helps him confront his emotional issues and find direction in his life. Along the way, Will also navigates his relationships with his best friend, Chuckie Sullivan (Ben Affleck), and his girlfriend, Skylar (Minnie Driver).
