Description
Students will read example correlations and determine the direction (positive or negative) and circle the two variables. Students will also determine the direction of an image (positive, negative, or no correlation) and write a statement that includes two variables that are correlated in that way. Then students will again read example correlations, this time representing the information on a graph as well as determining the direction and variables. This assignment works best as a formative assessment after students have learned the basics of correlations.
