Description

This informational reading passage teaches students to make apple pie in a cup and also focuses on using text evidence. This passage is an example from our Year Long Prove IT Reading Comprehension Bundle. You can use these passages in targeted small groups, literacy centers, with the entire class, for individual practice, or to focus on paragraph writing. After reading the passage you might want to help your students make their own apple pie treats! This activity is particularly fitting if you plan to celebrate an apple-themed week in September.
