What educators are saying
My students loved these engaging worksheets. They asked questions and were about to answer questions.
I’m always looking for tables for my students to practice with so this was the perfect resource for that.
Description
A practice worksheet that focuses on tables of proportional relationships! Before moving on to graphs and equations, make sure your students understand whether or not a relationship is proportional from tables.
This worksheet includes 8 tables.
- The first 4 ask students to determine if the table shows a proportional relationship or not. If it is, students give the constant of proportionality and include units.
- The last 4 include tables that do have a proportional relationship, and students are asked to complete the blank cells in the table. They are also asked to give the constant of proportionality and include units.
A key is included for easy checking.

CCSS7.RP.A.2a
Decide whether two quantities are in a proportional relationship, e.g., by testing for equivalent ratios in a table or graphing on a coordinate plane and observing whether the graph is a straight line through the origin.
CCSS7.RP.A.2b
Identify the constant of proportionality (unit rate) in tables, graphs, equations, diagrams, and verbal descriptions of proportional relationships.
