Description
I designed this project to give my students (and myself!) some relief after standardized testing at the end of the year! It is a FUN and EDUCATIONAL math project based on Common Core Standards.
During this project students will get to tap into their creative side and design the house of their dreams! They will use design skills, budget and money skills, area and perimeter skills, and geometry skills--all while being engaged and having fun!
Included in this item are:
-Slide presentation to show and explain the project to your students, complete with photos and graphics to get them excited!
-Price lists to help them stay within their budget
-Recording sheets to make the calculation process more streamlined
-Sample graph paper
-Hours of creative and exciting math instruction!!
This project differentiated by nature and is easily adapted to provide enrichment or remediation based on the needs of your students!
