Description
This complete project based learning activity is exactly what you need! Students will be provided with wonderful directions and an outline to research pets while maintaining a budget. Students will practice their research, writing and math skills in one fun and exciting project. Upon the completion of the outline, students will create a presentation where they will share the information they have found and ultimately the best pet for them! Once the students finish their project, teachers can use the rubric for clear and easy grading.
Allow for 7-10 days to complete this project when worked on in daily 45 minute increments.
Suggested timeline:
Day 1- Introduction, students select 3 pets to research
Days 2-5- Self directed research, students complete the outline
Days 6-8- Students create and practice their presentations
Days 9-10- Students present their projects, teachers use rubrics to grade!
