Description

Entrepreneur - Project Based Learning

Students experienced the excitement of being entrepreneurs. They used their skills that they developed across the curriculum to make their ideas become reality. What began as brainstorming a product, quickly developed into small businesses requiring students to perform job functions to keep their company successful. Independently, students collected and wrote paychecks, developed products, researched materials and a customer base, ordered their materials & created advertisements. This project not only utilized their math, reading, writing, and social studies skills, but their creativity and teamwork skills were put to the ultimate test. At the end of the day, the big question remains….
Will the company be profitable and strike it rich or forever in debt?
