Description
This bundle of two probability resources focuses on mathematical probabilities. It includes a 40-slide interactive PowerPoint that introduces the terms and teachers students how to show the probability of an outcome in number format (ex. 1 in 6). It also includes a follow-up packet of activities.
It includes:
- a 40-slide interactive PowerPoint
- a craftivity
- 2 worksheets
- 3 vocabulary posters
- an interactive notebook entry
Through using the resources in this bundle, students will learn the definitions of the following probability terms: certain, likely, equally likely, unlikely, and impossible. They will learn how to show the probability of an outcome in number format, as well (ex. 1 in 6).
After the introduction of terms and showing the terms on a continuum, the PowerPoint contains 29 practice slides that includes probability problems in several different formats: pulling marbles from a bag, spinners, drawing from a deck of cards, rolling dice, and word problems. The PowerPoint also comes with a 3-page companion handout that matches the PowerPoint.
The worksheets and craftivity are ideal follow-up activities, and the posters can be hung up to allow for easy reference.
