Description

One of the most difficult 4th grade standards, in my opinion, is identifying prime & composite numbers between 1-100. I decided to tackle this standard with a song and nearly all my students now know every prime number between 1-100! This goofy song (to the tune of What Does the Fox Say?) may have your students annoying others when rattling off these lyrics, but they'll certainly know their prime numbers, and the difference between a prime and composite number!

Your zip file includes a PDF of the song lyrics as well as an audio file with yours truly singing (or at least attempting to sing) the song for you to give you a better idea of how the lyrics go with the music! Feel free to allow your students to add dance moves!
