Prezi Presentation on How to Draw Diagrams to Solve Fraction Word Problems

This Prezi revolves around a gumball machine theme. My students loved them. Within the Go Math Curricula my students were asked to solve word problems that involved fractions and they had to identify the total amount of items in a group when given a specific fractional amount. This prezi guides students through the process of creating a diagram so that the students can use this problem solving method to visualize the correct answer. During this prezi students will also be able to watch a fun bubble gum machine video and I feel they will begin to realize that working with fractions is not as difficult as it may seem.
