Description

Kids love learning about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln! This unit offers a variety of activities that can be used when learning about these revered leaders this Presidents’ Day.

This unit integrates social studies content (history) and language arts (reading and writing). The activities offer your students more exposure with various critical thinking and ELA skills as they learn about these two very important presidents. You could easily use the materials during your social studies time or during your reading and/or writing time.

The activities were designed to foster individual engagement, as well as offer some opportunities for whole group engagement. The following activities are included in this unit:
