These President’s Day Mini Books are great for elementary and special education classrooms! After reading the mini-books, students will complete a President’s Day Sort for Abraham Lincoln and George Washington using visually supported choices. The President’s Day Mini Books are simple to read and full of picture support. Each mini-book is differentiated to meet student needs at 2 different levels. Level 1 is intended for non-writers and students with limited fine motor skills. Students are encouraged to follow along by coloring the pictures on each page. Level 2 is intended for developed writers. Students are encouraged to follow along by filling in the blank using the word bank page included with each book.
