Description

Another great Presidential Speech in the American History Collection!

A FULL 15-page Reader's Theatre Script of President Ronald Reagan's speech "Tear Down That Wall." The speech has been abridged, but all excerpts are included in the packet, in addition to a QR code leading to a full video of President Reagan's speech at the Brandenburg Gate. It has been written with 20 parts but can be adjusted. It can easily accommodate 30-40 students.

When presented, the speech is approximately 15 minutes.

Reagan's "Tear Down That Wall" is the perfect opportunity to actively engage your students in a history lesson. Use this crucial moment in American History as a catalyst for students to work on their presentation skills while gaining a deeper understanding of Reagan's important speech. Reagan was a skilled orator, and this speech is a prime example of that. When at all possible, I have created the script to mirror President Reagan's speaking cadence when he gave the speech live.

Included in the packet are three essay prompts with writing pages. Specific instructions and notes for Teachers are also included.
