Present Tense Spanish Reading Comprehension activities and stories for beginners

This reading bundle for Spanish beginners contains 33 short stories in Spanish written in the present tense on topics that are typically covered in a Spanish I curriculum. Each spanish story has comprehension questions and/or vocabulary based activities. Many readings offer activities in both English and Spanish for differentiated assessment. Stories provide great comprehensible input and most stories are great for acting out as well! They can be used as part of an FVR library, for stations, as an assessment or for whole class activities.

All documents are fully editable and easy to share with students via Google Classroom or similar platforms, but can also be photocopied and completed by hand.

These stories are also great for homeschoolers because they provide audio in Spanish and answer keys. Homeschool students can listen to the story as it's read aloud to them to follow along.
