    Description

Transform your teaching experience with the innovative 10 Sets Yoga Movement Cards of Eric Carle Books Bundle. Seamlessly blending the joy of Eric Carle's beloved stories with the tranquil practice of yoga, these cards offer a unique way to engage children, stimulate their minds, and promote physical wellness. In one colorful, interactive package, you'll have a tool that enriches learning and encourages mental and physical balance.

A few of the card sets have other activities and some partner poses (but not all).

This bundle includes yoga pose & movement cards for the following Eric Carle illustrated books: The Very Quiet Cricket, The Grouchy Ladybug, Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother Too?, Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? and Panda Bear, Panda Bear What Do You See?, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, The Mixed Up Chameleon, Slowly, Slowly, Slowly Said the Sloth, and Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What Do You Hear?

**Panda Bear, Panda Bear...,Baby Bear, Baby Bear..., Polar Bear, Polar Bear...and Brown Bear...were written by Bill Martin Jr. and Illustrated by Eric Carle.

Each set of cards has the yoga and movement poses that follow along with the stories.

What I like about this HUGE bundle of yoga pose cards and books is that you can use them for so many different lesson plan themes, from The Senses, Mother's Day, Bullying, Using Kindness and Manners, Animals Around the World (China and Australia), and of course, Insects, Arctic Animals, and the Rainforest. The yoga pose cards can stand on their own as a simple activity, but can also go along with a bigger theme if you choose to do so.

Be sure to read each description of each resource and look at the individual previews to make sure you are aware of what all is included with each card set.

These are great resources to keep on hand even if you don't incorporate them into your regular lesson plans. For preschool and kindergarten, they are AMAZING to have on hand for sub lesson plans. The books that are paired with this resource are easy readers which are great for children who are still learning to read.

I can't say enough about yoga. Yes, it's what I do, but I wish every classroom had yoga incorporated into their day. The benefits are many (I will list the benefits further down along with suggestions for use and ways to organize) and the children really respond to the movement. Even getting to take their shoes off at school is a novelty they really respond to. I think yoga is also a bonding activity that can help your students interact with each other.

Regardless of how you integrate yoga into your day, it can be a game changer. Using yoga that actually is part of your lesson plan, like these card sets are nice just for a change in the day. It's something different and we all know children need to move.

Having classroom physical activity breaks helps children learn. It doesn't have to go along with anything -- just the movement itself is beneficial.

Sorry to go on and on -- I am very passionate about what I do and love sharing it with others. Thank you for coming to visit this resource.
