Pregnancy Announcement Science Puzzle

This is a science vocab word search that reveals a hidden message reading "My teacher is having a baby!"

There is an extra assignment for students that finish early to complete quietly while others solve the puzzle. It asks for name suggestions, due date and gender guesses.

I recommend completing the task beforehand so that you can explain the directions more accurately to them, since it isn't like other word searches they've done. I even did a few words with my students first to help them get started. Using two different colored highlighters also helps it go more quickly, one to cross off the words (but they can still see them), and one to highlight the remaining letters. Having students work in groups will also make the task go faster.
